Stayed here from 14/10-18/10/24. Welcoming hosts, arrived to a lovely warm house, freshly baked bread, butter, milk and biscuits which were most appreciated. Beautifully decorated, well designed, immaculate and spotless house with lots of homely touches. Beautiful garden and hill views. Perfectly located for a relaxing holiday with Edinburgh Centre very close by if that’s your preference. Easily accessible by bus outside the property. We visited the Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith which was well worth a visit and easily accessible by bus or tram. We used the free parking at Ocean terminal. We used the Park and Ride at Ingliston and took the tram into Edinburgh Centre. Buses run from there too. Both very regular. Cocoa Black at Peebles well worth a visit, a pretty drive. Gorgeous hot chocolates, cakes and chocolates of all description can be bought too. Make great presents. Had a fabulous few days with warm, friendly, helpful but discreet hosts. Couldn’t have asked for more.
