「Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. 「We had a wonderful stay here! The location is fantastic – close to beautiful lakes and surrounded by great amenities. It’s a peaceful and quiet place, with lovely people who make you feel truly welcome. One of the highlights was having access to see the horses, which was such a treat, especially for the kids. There’s also plenty of open playing field space to enjoy. Communication was excellent from start to finish, making our stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!」

「we had an amazing holiday. The house is spacious and cozy at the same time. its clean and had everything we needed, loads of fridge and freezer space and washing machine and dryer. spent plenty time and the big back garden. we stayed for a full week, and was able to go on trips within an hours drive. there is a big new play area, 2 min walk from the house near the store. its brilliant for age 3 and up. the store has everything you need and the cashier was very helpful, which is great bc even...

「I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up.」

「This property is OUTSTANDING. Utterly beautiful, amazing location, a real show stopper. I booked this as a surprise for my family and they were blown away. The views were just amazing and the house itself is so grand. The garden is lovely to sit out in and enjoy. There's also a fantastic walk in the woods just at the back of the property so you can get stuck in straight away without having to worry about parking. We can't wait to visit again.」

「We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!」
