“A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”

“The breakfast was great! A different fresh juice each morning, a croissant, granola and yogurt, with a small bowl of fruit. Coffee & espresso was also great! ”

“The Owner was the sweetest! So friendly and so kind. Mostly spoke Spanish but was able to communicate in English as well. Breakfast was included and was fresh and delicious. The rooms were adorable and thoughtful. The area around the property felt safe and quiet and was walkable to the Mercado and coffee shops. ”

“This is a very sweet place, nicely decorated (felt European), with a very kind staff and super clean. It’s also very quiet… I usually sleep with earplugs, even at home, but didn’t need them here! Breakfast was great, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, toast, and eggs cooked fresh to order. The only kind of strange thing is that you have to ring a bell to get into the hotel. While it felt very safe, I prefer a bit freer access. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but not the worst… Juan Valdez coffee just……

“Hi highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel near Old Town Quito. Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect! ”

“The breakfasts were a highlight. We were always asked what time we wanted breakfast and each day we were greeted with a healthy, tasty and Ecuadorian breakfast and fresh juice. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic Old Town but on the outskirts so there is little noise. For us a highlight was being able to watch the New Year's Eve tradition of burning effigies right outside of our window because it is in a residential neighbourhood. There are many restaurants, convenience……

“Such a pleasure to stay at La Coupole. A beautiful mansion turned into a boutique hotel. Miles, the owner, is a gem. Well located walking distance to the Metro.”

“The rooms were huge! The staff was super nice and helpful and when we had problem with our room, we were offered a new one without asking. The sauna and steam room are pretty neat, but it would be great if there would be some kind of warm relaxing room within the sauna area. The breakfast was pretty good too! Even though I would love more cheese variation. All in all great hotel would definitely book it again! ”

“The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.”
