"Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem Apartment verbracht! Die Lage ist perfekt für anspruchsvolle Wanderungen und Naturliebhaber kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Das Apartment selbst ist gemütlich, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – nicht überladen, sondern „wenig, aber fein“. Die schöne Terrasse wäre bei wärmeren Temperaturen sicher ein Traum gewesen, leider war sie morgens und abends wegen Wind und Kühle nicht nutzbar. "We enjoyed our stay a lot. Gilbertos casa rural is a nice little house with a beautiful terrace. We spent all our meals outside under the blooming bougainvillea. Gilberto is a very friendly host, he gave us fresh fruit and avocados out of his garden and was very helpfull with every question. The kitchen ist small but well eqipped, the living and the bedroom were cozy. If we're going to visit El Hierro again, we will stay there! Gabriela and Jens"

"Perfekte Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin! Schnell unkompliziert und sehr sehr freundlich. Alles war wie beschrieben und in top Zustand. Außerdem ist die Autarkie des Hauses super und auch Zeitgemäß. Die Umgebung ist richtig ruhig und sehr schön. Auch ist ein sehr schöner "Mirador" fußläufig erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist ideal zum Entspannen, relaxen, wandern und um den Alltagsstress los zu werden. Man ist für sich und doch ist alles per Mietwagen relativ kurz erreichbar. Gut die Insel ist ja...

"Sehr persönliche und schnelle Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin.Das Häuschen hält, was es in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos verspricht.Ich habe mich in das Häuschen und die Insel verliebt.Die Adresse ist wegen der verschiedenen Einbahnstraßen anfangs nicht leicht zu finden, Google Maps hilft.Ich hoffe, bald wieder kommen zu können!"

CASA EL VALLITO YOUR PIECE OF HEAVEN AT EL HIERRO

"The views are wonderful and there are lots of sheltered outdoor spaces to sit and read. Everything you need for self catering.The Casa is quite isolated - we chose not to hire a car, 30 min down hill walk to a supermarket (quite steep return journey), the nearest restaurant is about 20 minutes away and is well worth a visit (La Pasada). Buses run on time and it's a set rate for anywhere on the island. Chano was very helpful, as was the owner.We had quite a bit of wind and rain - but the house stayed dry and warm. Walking in the cloud from the Casa into Valverde took about 1 hr 30min. An excellent place to relax!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Mar Azul. The location is fantastic, and the mountain views from the terrace are truly stunning—one of our favorite parts of the house. The home itself is thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were high quality, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking at home.If anything, a few additional pillows would have been appreciated, but this was a very minor detail compared to how enjoyable the overall experience was.Our hosts were wonderful—warm, responsive, and extremely communicative throughout the check‑in process, providing clear directions and making everything easy.We truly loved our stay and would happily return!"

The hotel is run by a super friendly family. Rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is very good. Staff are extremely helpful and engaging. "
