"Having stayed at the RIU a few times we thought we'd try something different to end our week away. We booked this last minute purely based on price and the picture but what a hidden gem. Was a bit nervous arriving, first time the taxi had ever been there, down a dirt road and greeted with a solid door and buzzer but you're in for a lovely surprise. Greeted immediately by staff, inside the walls there's a 5* safe haven, quiet, sereen, private and peaceful. The room (we stayed in 09 with a second bedroom attached) was better than the pictures, everything styled perfectly. The architecture is just unbelievable, built from mud/clay and straw, about as authentic as you can image, inside it's plastered, air conditioned. 2 swimming pools and plenty of double sun beds, staff delivering drinks and food as you need. Prices are fine, £4.50 for a glass of wine. The evening meal was truly excellent, lamb shank (£17), chicken tagine, mixed Moroccan starters. Breakfast just as delicious. Honestly one of the best meals we've had. If you want a few nights of peace and tranquillity with a spa like vibe, this is for. We'll be back :)"

"Simply exquisite. The hotel hospitality, service is in a class of its own. You feel so well looked after, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning place, probably the best looking hotel I’ve stayed in. It’s an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and definitely the best place to mark the milestone occasion, it felt super special. Thank you Oberoi. Special shout out to Rachid who looked after us, thank you."

"1000/10 This property was a complete oasis the most peaceful place I’ve ever stayed. Even though Marrakesh is very hot because of all the greenery it was a very nice temperature inside and outside. The rooms were extremely clean if you are barefoot your feet are going to be clean the whole time and it smells very good. The blanket smell freshly clean and they had white sheets. The breakfast was a traditional Moroccan breakfast with all the traditional foods. We will always come back to this place when staying in Marrakesh."

"Just home following my second trip to this hotel, the first virus with my husband an the second as a girls trip. The hotel is in a stunning setting within lovely lush gardens. We particularly liked the zen pool where we could read and chill. One of the main reasons we returned (I’ve never returned to a hotel ever) was the quality of the food which is first class, every meal has a wide selection and to a really high standard. The block our room was in this time was a little more tired than our first visit and there were a few niggles, mostly minor points - gym doesn’t open top 9am in the middle of breakfast service so no workout before breakfast, no signage at zen pool meant it there was a lot more noise with adults all drinking in the pool (without lifeguard intervention) and there were structural improvements taking place which is great to see but difficult to relax in with drills going constantly… and no signage / prior warning before booking that this was taking place. I would return again for a stay but would check out the above points first. It really is a fabulous hotel."

"Really incredible place. Beautifully decorated, Real five star vibe, at three-star prices. Food was excellent, staff beyond excellent. Airport shuttle service excellent, at going back I needed to be there at 3a.m. I was solo; but I'd love to go back with a partner, would be perfect for a romantic getaway. Great pool, lovely gardens."

"Villa incroyable et très confortable, avec un intérieur vraiment réussi et agréable à vivre.Le personnel est irréprochable : attentionné, efficace et toujours disponible. On recommande les petits déjeuners, ils apportent un vrai plus au séjour.Un grand merci à Paolo pour sa disponibilité et ses conseils précieux sur Marrakech et les bonnes adresses à découvrir.Très bon séjour, on recommande sans hésitation."
