El Obelisco

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff truly made our vacation special. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. A special thank you to Juan, Kerly, Jose, and Darwin, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness, genuine care, and outstanding customer service made a lasting impression. Darwin, in particular, brought so much energy and positivity to the pool bar every day it was always a pleasure being served by him. There are a few areas that could be improved. Better ventilation is needed in all bathrooms, including those in the guest rooms. Some aesthetic details around the property also need attention, such as worn doors, bathtubs, and deteriorated countertops in some bar and pool areas. While these issues didn’t ruin our stay, addressing them would make the resort feel even more upscale. The pool area was enjoyable, but the overall service from the lifeguards and some of the pool staff could be more attentive and engaging. Compared to the excellent service we received elsewhere in the resort, this was the one area that could use improvement. Overall, we had a great experience and would gladly return. The warmth and professionalism of the staff truly make this resort stand out.
