We spent 11 days in this lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet Andalusian village. The house is a perfect base for exploring the area including Granada (the Alhambra) and Cordoba. Only 45 minutes drive from the coast also. A lovely place to relax both inside and on the terraces which overlook orange and olive groves. The house is beautiful with lots of character - a real home from home.

Fabulous house

We had a wonderful week in sleepy Saleres and definitely recommend the house for a relaxing holiday. Having a choice of 3 different levels to choose from is a real luxury throughout the day. The local bar was great to visit but we were usually the only visitors!! Fantastic setting and wonderful views everywhere.

Perfect holiday

What a fantastic holiday. The house was perfect and full of character. Lots of places to relax in the sun and shade. Wonderful location in a peaceful village but within driving distance from Granada, the coast and other surrounding towns and villages. Siobhan was very helpful with lots of information about the house and surrounding area. Particularly enjoyed the walks from the village, including the gorge. Would recommend to anyone interested in a peaceful holiday.

Wonderful location away from tourist crowds

The house is absolutly wonderful. There was during our stay pool-service and when there where questions or little problems, the reply was immediate. Very good contact and nice people serviced.The reason the three stars for cleaness of the house is the behavior of the people, that have been there before us (not clearing the refrigerator, left food packages, left things in the bathroom etc.). But summarized: Best to chill.

We stayed here during the recent heat wave and the pool was a life saver. So nice to jump in after a morning touring the area. The house was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. Due to the heat we pretty much lived in the pool area all weekIf you want an away from it all break then you would enjoy Saleres

Great week at Casa Azahar. The house is very special. It was difficult to choose a favourite space in such an interesting and comfortable property. The interior patio, pool room, terraces, sitting room and of course the pool were all fantastic. Walks in surrounding area and proximity to Grenada add to the attraction of Casa Azahar.

It is a very nice place in a very beautiful valley.The house needs a little bit of TLC. It puts a lot of strain and wear and tear on a house having a lot of guests and the harsh summer sun.We had a wonderful time and super respons from the host, when we had any questions or issues. Wunderbar verträumtes Häuschen in einer tollen Umgebung. Pool und Sitzgelegenheiten am Pool waren super gemütlich. Besuch der Junta de los Rios und des kleinen Canyons fußläufig vom Haus entfernt lohnen sich. Dort kann man einige schöne Tage verbringen.

The house was really wonderful as was the village. Absolutely great also for travelers without a car

The host, Ange, was very friendly and helpful. When the hot water didn’t work (probably due to the heavy storms) she fixed it within 15 minutes. The house is really comfortable for a longer stay and there are lots of opportunities for thos who like walking!

Great hideaway

We really enjoyed the the flair of Casa Azahar and the tranquile surroundings! We would recommend the house to ervyone who wants to take a timeout in a calm environment. Also visiting Granada, Malaga or Cordoba is easy from Saleres!

Excellent séjour dans cette maison magnifique dans le charmant village de Saleres ! Des petites balades à ne pas rater sont à faire dans El Valle! Piscine fraîche, cadre qui invite à la détente. Un seul petit détail : les baignoires sont très grandes, consomment énormément d eau et pas de possibilité de se doucher dedans donc au final une seule douche fonctionne.

A lovely place to stay. Characterful and well equipped. The pool and relaxing spaces are wonderful. Set in beautiful countryside with lots of walks and some lovely local restaurants. We were sad to leave! Highly recommended.
