The Talbott Inn was a beautifully restored building. It was close to downtown within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. There was live music at several places near by. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a night away.

loved our stay at the Talbott Inn. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive when we asked for suggestions on what to do in the area. I would definitely stay at the Talbott again. We loved the old architecture and history of the Tavern and took time to download the app that was informative of its history.

We stopped for the night in Bardstown, KY, while visiting Bourbon distilleries on KY's "Bourbon Trail." The town is about midway between the Jim Beam and Maker's Mark distilleries. We loved the town and especially the Talbott Inn. The Inn is a repurposed historical building, and it is adjacent to the Talbott Tavern. The Tavern has great food, and it is very popular (get reservations!). The rooms are comfortable - good beds and modern showers. The shampoo and lotions are first class. We stayed in Room 102, which has a closet repurposed from a bank safe. We got an excellent overnight rate from Expedia. Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked, we knew this was a special place. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was pristine. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The location of this inn is perfect, walking distance to downtown, bars, shops, restaurants. Don’t miss dining in the restaurant for dinner, that was a lovely experience too.
