"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"This is a wonderful place, new and comfortable. With the new upgrades to this property comes small details to make it a 10. Fit and finish is the only thing that has to be done. Resent drywall work has left a little dust in a/c unit, shower door seal could be an inch closer so water doesn't leak on floor and exhaust fan in bathroom would have been a better stay. All in all we had a nice stay.I would like to stay here again. "
