The house is small and one of the beds is not made for two people, perhaps two small children, but not two adults. Luckily only one of our daughters came along with us, and there were not a crisis. The location is fantastic. You have this sweeping view of Greenwood Beach. The town was supposed to have a restaurant and a pub, but they were all closed because of construction and I don't think will be open soon. There is a small deli with limited options so be prepared to have to go far away for eating if you don't bring your own groceries to cook.
The house is in need of a renovation, there is this shag carpet on the living room and the deck that you see on the picture is really old and rustic. The chairs were all very dirt and we had to wipe them out. Quite annoying when you pay for a large cleaning fee!
The vegetation around the house grew to cover the steps that lead you to the deck below, and you need to push it out of the way to go down on this precarious steps. The house has a love seat on the living room and an extra chair, so if you are in three and want to watch some tv, you would have to move the chair, however, they have this threatening note on the area that you are not supposed to move any of the furniture, and you will be charged if you do... Again, this is a cabin for a couple and not a house for four adults. The location, as I said, is fantastic and there is a trail very close to take you downhill to this beautiful beach. We stayed a couple nights and went to Mendocino for a day which is fairly close. Mendocino has more options for eating and is a larger town. It was easy to find the place, but the driveway off the cliff is quite scary. I don't think meets any code, and you are with your rear at a freeway, and dealing to not fall off the cliff to make a downturn into this narrow driveway. Luckily it was not raining and we made in and out safe. I would recommend the cabin to an young couple that is not looking for luxury and is driving a 4WD.
