Really pleasant and helpful staff member checked us in and served us in the bar, a credit to the establishment. The room itself was in need of some maintenance and had some odd features (eg cups in the room were too small for the portions dispensed by the hot water boiler..) but was clean and comfortable enough for our one night stay

We used this hotel as a base for the British Open Golf at Royal Birkdale, Southport. Whilst being further away than we thought (our fault not theirs) we had an excellent stay with the staff being very friendly and helpful and a good evening meal in the restaurant and a very acceptable breakfast the next day. If staying in the area, I'd highly recommend the Brook Hall hotel.

The hotel is dated but well managed and excellent staff ensuring comfort and a good experience. The staff went that extra mile to assist with our arrangements as we were attending a party somewhere else. We would visit this hotel again without question if in the area. We did have breakfast which I must say was the best breakfast We have had in a hotel for a long time. Reason for this is cooked to order. Evening meal was very enjoyable too. Well done.
