"We visited Red Wing and stayed at The St. James Hotel for one night. It’s an elegant, lovely hotel. Quiet room, spacious, beautiful. We had a corner room with views to the river and the town."

"Everything was great but I didn't get to use the water park area, because they close early on Sunday and aren't open on Mondays ("Back to school hours"). Not upset about it, just a bit disappointed. I wish I had checked before I went to dinner and people watching. I guess I'll have to go back to try the waterpark!"

"We needed an affordable place to lay our heads at night and this place was perfect. The staff was very nice and welcoming, check in was quick and easy. They had a sort of a self serve omelette station that was surprisingly easy and a great breakfast option. The hot tub and pool area was immaculately clean. The downside was the room was very small with little to no counter space. Although the property is very well kept it is older and had a bit of a musty smell in the rooms."

"Everything was fantastic! Room was exceptional clean. We had a suite. All the furniture was comfortable and clean. Staff was excellent. We had an issue with one of the TV but a maintenance guy worked until he solved the issue. He was great! We would return"

"We had an amazing time. The only thing we were not aware of was that the fireplaces are not in working order until October...that would have been something helpful to know when renting the fireplace suite. Great staff and great room cleanliness!"
