Compass Cottage , Emsworth - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Compass Cottage is set on the picturesque Emsworth mill pond which leads to the harbour. This quaint Victorian property is suitable for a small group of adults or family of four. As a traditional cottage it has a steep central staircase which is not suitable for small children.

The main living area looks out across the water and is comfortably furnished including an internet enabled SMART TV and a working fireplace to cosy down in front of on a cool summer or winter evening. The open plan kitchen / dining area is an excellent size for entertaining, with a log burner and overlooks the garden, a perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine, play games or eat dinner after a long day of exploring.

The well equipped kitchen includes, Nespresso machine, kettle cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and washing machine with dryer. You will have everything you need to cook up a feast with the fresh produce available from the local farm shops or why not try out one of the many local independent excellent restaurants, and abundance of pubs and cafes within walking distance.

There is a back door leading out from the dining area onto a pretty little cottage garden, with a raised sunny deck area where there is a table and chairs with enough room for all the family, ideal for al fresco dining.

On the ground floor you will find the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and on the first floor are the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed which looks out across the millpond with a smart TV and the second bedroom overlooks the garden. The second bedroom can made up as a king or twin room but please let us know in advance of your arrival at the cottage.

Parking is in front of the property on a first come first serve basis, however, if this is full there is a free car park over the road. Free Wifi is available.
