「We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!」

「Host was responsive while being pretty matter of fact, wouldn’t say I was bowled over with the warmth of his welcome. It’s pretty obvious this place is for those on a budget and the experience and amenities represented that. I only stayed for one night due to what I considered to be unworkable conditions and host was agreeable to refund for the additional nights which is why I’m giving him three stars but ultimately I was out several hundred dollars as the platform fees, etc., were not...
