Rooms were nice, clean and had comfy beds. The staff was amazing, gave us recommendations to restaurants and taverns in the area. Breakfast was good and the dining facilities were very nice. Parking was sufficient for 6 motorcycles to park together.

Door wouldn’t lock every time we shut it. Maintenance tried but still didn’t work. Rm 336. We had to use key to swipe and lock but that didn’t always work either. Oh well it was a great room w harbor view and great base to see the redwoods! Overall great experience.

The bathroom sink was backing up, muddy water. Called the front desk and they said they had no one on maintenance staff to address it. Offered to change rooms, but it was already later in the evening so we did.

Friendly staff. Breakfast wasn’t too bad - fresh eggs, sausage, waffles, etc., hours are 6-9, even on weekends, wish that was extended a bit.. pool was chilly but kids had a great time in it. Room and bathroom was smaller than I expected but Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

When we pulled up to the hotel, we were excited because the marina was across the street. What a cool view right? When we got up to our room, we looked out at our view….what a bummer. We were staring at the white cement wall at f the stairwell. Everyone who came up to the one level passed our room. What a racket!! Our door jam didn’t seal well so a lot of the noice came right in

Love coming here when we visit the Redwoods. The hotel offers a pool which is awesome for my kiddo, and Crescent City is walkable to a point, plenty of dining options available nearby.

The hotel was wonderful! The rooms were clean and the whole place is quiet. Breakfast was a good standard continental breakfast! The only downside was the thermostat didn’t really work. Otherwise we absolutely loved it!

Overall, we had a good stay. When we first checked in, our room key didn’t work and we had to go back to the front desk. Once inside the room, we also noticed noise from upstairs guests and a crack in the ceiling that made us a bit uncomfortable. However, the staff handled the situation well. I asked to switch rooms, and they were able to move us to a second-floor room right away. The new room felt much better—less stuffy, no strange smells, and overall more comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight. There were plenty of options including scrambled eggs, beef patties, bagels, English muffins, waffles, yogurt, cereal, juice, and coffee—definitely a solid start to the day. One unique thing to note: between around 3–5 AM, you can hear sea lions nearby, and the hotel may sound a horn to scare them off. It’s interesting, but if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. Overall, I appreciate how the staff resolved the issue quickly and made sure we were comfortable for the rest of our stay.
