「It used to be so convenient when you could walk across the street. Now it’s about a 1/2 mile walk UPHILL and completely around the property. Now you really need a taxi unless you don’t have luggage. Staff was friendly as always and room was basic as expected but definitely not cheap anymore. Breakfast was $12 for bread and cereal so we opted for a sandwich at a market down the road. Since you need a taxi now I will find a nicer place to stay. Too bad because I used to love this place.」

「The photos on the web site make these rooms look a tad bigger than what they are. These would be great for a student or a traveler with not too much luggage. We of course had two weeks worth of luggage (gotta bring snorkel gear, booze, etc), and after an 8 hour flight my wife was not having it.
