"I had a different circumstance that required me to go down there a day earlier...I tried through Expedia to change my reservation but was not successful. I called the hotel directly and they were able to assist me so I ended up staying a day earlier and kept my reservation for the original night stay. Hope and the crew were amazingly understanding and helpful. I did not catch the name of the woman who made the breakfasts but when my kid came down, she checked in on her and she made sure she had what she needed and asked if we needed anything else. I mean great customer service there and we've been going and staying there for the past 12 years. It is literally right up the road from the summer camp that we've been going to, it's about 45-minute drive from brenham to go get ice cream, and roughly about 20-25 minutes to round top. So it's a good centrally located hotel."

"This property is the perfect retreat for our family of four, especially the pool, which was the highlight of our time spent at the house. The location is remote and still a convenient drive to Round Top and La Grange. The host is easy to communicate with and the hospitality was genuine and personal. This is our second year booking this rental and we will no doubt return again."

"This was a fantastic stay - the host was great and very responsive, the property was super spacious with a great pool, and only about a 5 min drive into Round Top. When we arrived, the central AC was not working, but within a few hours (without us having even contacted the host yet), someone came out to repair it and the problem was solved quickly and easily. Highly recommend!"

"Conveniently located for visiting round top during the day. House interior was even more beautiful than the pictures. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything that you could need. Layout of the house was great for multiple families staying together.We can’t wait to go back!"

"Super cute decor / house (just like pics)! Great location, can walk to town etc! Seemed very clean and was ready for us! Comfortable beds, and seating areas etc. Lots of things you might need, already at the house! Easy to check in/communicate, nice host, easy to park there! Felt safe and La Grange is a cute little town, nice people, neat historical things. The train definitely comes thru at various times (track is next door), tho wasn't a bother to us. Would def stay again!"
