“A really beautiful property up on the heights with stunning views across the lagoon towards Knysna and a nice balcony to sit out in the evening and lovely gardens and pool ( book the deluxe room it’s worth it !) Huge comfy bed and big bath tub, loved the fluffy robes . Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of fruits, yoghurt, cereals, cheese and ham , breads and a cooked breakfast made to order . Well stocked bar with lovely wine choice and a nice guest sitting room . Two nice……

“Great hotel in a great location, right by the water and a short walking distance to all the restaurants at the marina. Parking right at the hotel as well. Rooms are lovely, staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good - will be staying here again next time we are in Knysna.”

“Lovely peaceful guest house. With just 5 rooms this is like living as a local. Cooked to order quality breakfast at a sensible time of 0830 , nice little pool with decent sun loungers. Our sea facing room was superb . Other rooms are garden view. Free to use kayaks, range of bikes to explore the local area. Honesty bar and plenty of reading materials. Thoroughly recommended. ”

Van ontvangst, de super nette grote kamer, het uitgebreide ontbijt met dagspecial tot de fietsen die beschikbaar werden gesteld....alles super ! “Fabulously friendly and helpful hosts. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was very comfy too. A lovely balcony to sit at in the evening afforded us a great view out to the sea. Breakfast was well executed and staff were all friendly. The property is well located - just a short drive into town. I would definitely stay here again if I wax to return to Knysna. ”

“The hotel was excellent with regards to service, cleanliness and location. Everything to shut down very early and unfortunately due to tides and debris we couldn’t use the kayaks.”

The location is excellent, the hotel itself is quite interesting and there are many places to explore, the food and drink were excellent - as were the staff who provided them, the room was remarkable. This is a must-stay hotel if you are considering staying in the area. I would return in a heartbeat if travels bring me there - and I would bring as many as I could.”

“A lovely property in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The welcome and breakfast were excellent. The room is a good size as is the bed with good facilities. There was no hot water for a shower at night, however there was hot water for the bath. In the morning hot water for the shower quickly turned cold. The bathroom needs attention and lets the property down somewahat.”
