“The property is an old pub. The bed was comfy and room size adequate. Bathroom is in need of renovations. Pub quaint, good to chat with friendly locals, had cheap bar snacks for dinner. Breakfast was set in a nice room, fireplace and rose on table. Only a continental but it was lovely. Quiet evening location.”

“Fab place to stay friendly staff good breakfast and nice room everything you need nice and relaxing 2 days before going to a wedding”

“good”

“I loved staying here! Such helpful staff, and a gorgeous room with the comfiest bed. Great location, and has a charming pub with great food (loved the crab risotto). Made to order breakfast with lots of options including vegetarian. One thing to note - my room’s window was over the front door and things get a little rowdy outside on weekends - nothing my air buds couldn’t drown out. Would highly recommend!”

“The manager, Mac, was very welcoming and took the time to explain the facilities within the hotel. Our room while a little dated, was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and contained a variety of choices. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Recommend staying here.”

“The breakfast at the Castle Hotel was the best breakfast ever - no kidding.”
