We especially enjoyed the pool area, situated privately, and with a salt water pool, lounge chairs, and sun beds all close to the pool so a family can enjoy their time together. The hosts were very kind and extremely responsive when we contacted them, both before and during our stay. They were very helpful and provided suggestions for things to do. Highly recommend for a family vacation!"

"We had a great stay at Montvallon. The owners are very friendly. They do not live nearby and we only met during our stay once. However, Elisabeth is always available. We were welcomed by Robert who is a friend of the owners with some local wine and jam. He is very kind and always ready to assist if you have a question or problem. The house and the swimming pool are very nice with a view over the vineyards. Cities in the Provence/Ardeche are nearby. "

"We had a lovely time staying in Waleria’s house. Very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed the pool for the kids and relaxing in the garden. Very calm and charming village of Mirabel."

"A excellent place to base yourself for a week's trip to Provence, the house was clean and as described in listing. We chose the hottest June on record to visit and this did make the bedrooms rather warm, however the living space on the lower level stayed pleasantly cool. Some light cotton sheets instead of the heavy linen ones would have been appreciated. Great bakery just 5 doors up the street! The kitchen had everything one needed, easy place to live. We went on the terrace every evening to...

"Absolutely loved this place. Completely isolated, so peaceful and quiet. Loved the large jacuzzi/pool, ideal for cooling down from the summer heat. Great location with fabulous views. Owner responded in good time with any teething problems, ie we had a power issue, that was easily and quickly resolved. Would love to stay there again."

"The plane tree6in the courtyard provided wonderful shade with temperatures in the high 30s. We were a group of 15 people ranging from 4months to 77 years and everyone found their favourite corner. Plenty of space for a large family. Laying on the terrace and watching the moon rise and searching for shoot g stars was a family occupation."
