"Free breakfast was great! Hotel was what you’d expect with a Holiday Inn Express- not bad by any means, but nothing special at all. We flew in that afternoon and my son and Father attended a concert at Pine Knob which was why we stayed there for the night- we’re from Florida, and hotel rooms with carpet creep me out- hotel rooms here in Florida don’t usually have carpet. This hotel has carpet in the rooms, which I know is typical for Michigan for the most part. Other than that, not bad. Pillows were really uncomfortable and flat- and when we asked for extras, they said they didn’t have any. Really not terrible if you’re just passing through and need a place to stay. Wouldn’t stay for a long stay, though. Excellent location- can walk to the Great Lakes Crossings mall and several other restaurants nearby!"
