The behind the desk staff was great, checking in and out. Room was clean, but window latch broken. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet throughout the night. Breakfast just ok. There's a Hardee's right across the parking lot which was handy for a quick supper.

Hotel was genrally OK for a 12 hour stop to get some sleep. Room was a little noisy and outside light combined with large mirror left it less dark than I like to sleep in. There was a power strip hangin from an outlet with 4 or 5 electrical device connected to it - seems unsafe to me. Floor and beds/bedding looked new, bathroom needs updating. Outside door was left unlocked and while the area (Days Inn, Hardess restaurant, Cenex Gas station, Perkins and Americinn close by) seemed safe the open door made me uncomfortable. Limited breakfast. My impression is that the hotel is under new (newer?) management and theay are working to renovate it as time goes on. Would stay again if I was looking to save money and was basically only planning to stay in order to get some sleep.

Stay Away...Scary...

Area around building was dirty, people walking around back loitering..drinking. Did not seem safe, hotel was rundown looking. Room was just okay. Breakfast provided was horrible..coffee was way watered down..really bad..

The building is small, older and outdated, but the new owners have done some updates. The rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast space is modern but small. All in all, our stay was just fine!

We booked this hotel for about $50 less than other hotels with similar review scores in the area. It’s a renovated super8 style hotel- very basic but our room was clean (even the corners of the bathroom), beds were comfortable and owner/operator at the front desk was friendly. The hotel hallways had a damp but not mildewy-smell, but the room was fine. Breakfast area had cereal and waffle machine. Would stay again for an overnight stop on a road trip.

Nothin fancy, but clean and comfortable

It looked a little rough pulling up but for a cheaper place it was clean, everything worked and beds were clean and comfortable. For someone who usually stays at the bigger brand hotels but just needed a place a sleep as we raced in town late and had to leave early it was great. Nothing fancy but a good clean place if you’re looking to rest your head.

I was first given a room which had not been made up. (At last the front desk clerk apologized, something you very rarely see these days.) The room was pretty smelly, probably from mold and mildew in the A/C system. Room was not in very good shape, junk scattered all over the hallways. I thought that not having carpets would be a good thing. Next time I'll spend a few dollars more here.

Safety an issue?

The desk clerk said go around the back for easier access to our room. We went around to the back entrance and there was an unsavory character in a vehicle with the windows open smoking pot. His vehicle was right at the rear door. Needless to say, I did not feel safe at this property.
