「Because of the graduation at VT their prices were inflated (all hotels & motels were) but it was the cheapest I could find. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The place is older and could use some renovating. Overall a good place to stay, nice friendly staff.」

「Our room was fairly dirty in all corners, under the bed, and on bathroom surfaces. The vanity mirror light did not work until we fixed it. The room had a strong, pretty unpleasant smell that when waking up the next morning, stuck in your nose and throat. The manager was very nice and helpful, though. Not the worst place we've stayed, but there could be many improvements.」

「Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!」

「The room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff were nice, especially Kim, who prepared a delicious breakfast each day. The only reason I scored it a 4 instead of a 5 is that breakfast was an additional charge that I did not realize until our arrival and housekeeping texted us about our needs and I requested fresh towels that we never received. 「Our room smelled like a sewer. I believe it was coming from the drain in the shower. We also found a large spider and roach in the bathroom. The lady at the front counter was VERY rude when I went to check out this morning. She said she received several phone call complaints about our dogs barking and didn't have a phone number to call us. We stepped out for less than an hour for breakfast and I have an Expedia account that should have my phone number attached, not to mention they should have...
