Built in the typical Umbrian style, with stone walls and characteristic arched windows, this modern yet authentic 4-bedroom villa for 8 is perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with nature and loved ones. The family-friendly villa has a large, outdoor, shared pool accompanied by sun loungers, greenery and a hill-view terrace with dining and BBQ to soak up the vibrance of the lush Umbrian countryside.

Inside, the villa is split into 2 levels, with the lower level dedicated to a spacious living room divided into three sections including an elegant dining area, a staircase area leading to the upper floor and a cosy TV area with a fireplace and ample sofa seating. The TV area further leads to the fully equipped kitchen of the villa featuring all modern essentials like a microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge and oven.

The pool is almost as good as a private one, meaning that it is shared with the owner who will hardly ever use it when there are guests. However, please note that the pool is located 20m from the main entrance, you have to cross a little boulevard.

Gas is paid at the end of the stay at the apartment based on meter reading.

Location

The holiday villa is located just a few minutes away by car or on foot from the town of Ficulle, and despite being a small village there are many typical restaurants, a supermarket, an oven where you can eat excellent pizzas for a budget-friendly lunch, and anything else you may need. The medieval town of Ficulle is about an 8-minute drive and has historic buildings like Castello della Sala, the Church of Santa Maria and the cult Sanctuary of Madonna delle Maesta to visit.

Within a 30-minute drive, guests will be able to discover a wealth of attractions like La Scarzuola, better known as the place where Francesco D\'Assisi lived; Orvieto, Etruscan necropolis of the Crocifisso del Tufo; St. Patrick\'s Well, an engineering masterpiece, and the 13th C Rubello Castle. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve is a short drive away, about 45 minutes, offering a haven for hiking, wildlife spotting, star gazing and reconnecting with nature. Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is a 1 hour and 10-minute drive away and Assisi, the birthplace of St Francis and a site of pilgrimage a 1 hour and 30-minute drive away. The closest airport to the accommodation is Perugia a 1 hour and 16-minute drive away.
