"This is the North Shore’s best kept secret. It’s a very nice hotel with a terrific staff. Kids love the pool, too! This hotel is directly in the heart of the North Shore and is a great jumping off point to Grand Marais, the Gunflint Trail, the Splitrock Lighthouse and more. So many places overcharge for their stays, but this place is priced right for families. A very friendly convenience store is adjacent and you can see the lake right from the hotel. Breakfast is pretty good too and you have many options to choose from. Don’t be a sucker and book at an overpriced resort, this is what you need."

"From check in to check out, our stay was the relaxing getaway we were hoping to have before summer comes to an end! Perfect location for trail riding and close to many hiking options, we were immersed in outdoor activity. The view of the lake and our time in the cabin were both amazing!"
