"We stayed in Long View during the Skye leg of our Scotland trip in February. It was the highlight of the whole trip! One of the best on VRBO. The views are amazing and the windows out front are huge. The house is warm throughout with underfloor heating and a cosy log burning stove in the living room, which we lit every night. It is even better than it looks in the photo’s. The sky and its stars are so clear at night and the sunsets so vivid that we didn’t bother putting the TV on playing board games and looking out for shooting stars and aurora borealis (Nirthern Lights) and yes we did see them. Amazing. Our whole family loved staying here and we cannot wait to plan another visit back to Long View and the magical Isle of Skye. We shall be back. Thank you Ling View and our amazing host Iain. "This property was exceptional, from the moment we booked until after we checked out. We were a family of 6 - two grandparents, son and daughter in law, and two grandkids. Beautiful location, house was very comfortable and had more than we could have asked for in amenities! Communication with hosts was exceptional and good information provided in the house as well. "This was a nice place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved how isolated it is, and it had great views of the stars. The description is misleading/wrong though. You do not get a whole cottage to yourself. It it more of a duplex where the host lives on one side of the building. It says to get keys from the neighbor which we assumed was a different house, but its not and the actual neighbor is quite annoyed that people keep showing up asking for keys. So when you show up, you get keys from Bobby who lives in the other section of the building. Bobby was great, but the description needs to be updated. "

"This house is in a great position with wonderful views. It is very spacious and has everything you need. It was spotless and has good drying facilities for those wet days that can happen! Great for beach walks and bird watching from the house. We would like to return."

"The cottage was perfect....clean, cosy, excellent information in the cottage eg lights labelled, instructions for all appliances etc. Felted artwork beautiful. Yoh can see and feel the care and attention that has been put into making it a lovely place to stay.Good location for exploring outer islands ie close to ferry ports. "
