"Christian and all the staff were really nice, courteous, caring, kind & hospitable. We were worried about the "wooden plank" and river comments in a few reviews. While it should be properly fixed, there was really no issue. We stayed on the top floor and we are tall so I will have to say don't stay on the top floor if you're tall! "We spent a week in this apartment and found it an ideal base for local outings, including Taormina and Etna. Forza d'Agro is a bit like a hill-top Sicilian St Ives - all tiny alleys and steep streets and stairs, with excellent restaurants. The chocolate museum was pretty original too! The apartment is well-equipped and clean, with a lovely terrace giving the most amazing views along the coast and across the valley to the mountains."
