“Good location , private . Property very tired . Holes rotted through floor , window frames rusted through . told to fill wood box on departure , which we did ,it was empty on arrival . Surfaces greasy . We cleaned it better on departure . ”

“For our first trip visiting Flinders Island we couldn’t have imagined finding such a quiet quaint property like this. Everything we needed and more was provided, the home was relaxing and made us feel like we weren’t just visiting we were in our own getaway house.As we both like fishing maybe a suggestion to have a few fishing rods for guests to utilise while staying is the only thing we would have liked but overall there is nothing else we could have desired for a great weekend away. We will……

“Very good communication with the host prior to our stay. The house was lovely. The most amazing thing about it is the wildlife that is present. There are wallabies and wombats and we even saw one echidna. The location is superb and we walked to the beach on a daily basis. You feel like you’re the only people on the island. Would definitely stay again.”

“Super clean, and the freshly made bread in the bread maker on arrival with fresh jam in the fridge was a nice touch. The listing was showing that the property is at North East River but it’s actually at Emita (Emita was a much better location as it’s closer to more things). Great views for your morning coffee as well!”
