「We had emailed the hotel three times before our arrival to book a table in the restaurant and received no reply. Upon arriving at the hotel we were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that we could eat in the bar until 9pm. Unfortunately this message was given to many other patrons and the bar was overflowing with people trying to find seats and order food. A group already sat at a table said we could have their table as it was obvious there was no chance of getting served. We...

「The "hotel" in some respects was reasonable (vehicle parking, visual appearance, and the room itself), but did not justify the name of hotel. The property offered no facilities for an evening meal (and even the nearest dining facilities {more than half a mile away} was closing down at the end of the day we were there and only offered a limited menu on that day). When asking what time breakfast was served there was some doubt whether it was served at all. They then stated that breakfast would be...

「Great hotel hidden away from the main road, a little on the expensive side as far as drinks & food go, but the breakfast was very good, nonetheless. ALL the staff were very helpful from check in to check out, the hotel was clean, very quiet, great for safe parking and we will stay again. The ONLY downside is the location itself, we spent a small fortune on taxis to and from the centre of Nottingham, but it wouldn't put me off staying at Colwick Hall Hotel, a really comfortable, relaxing break.」
