New favourite for Firenze

This small hotel in a quiet sidestreet near Liberta had everything I like for a short stay, including easy access from the airport with the tram. Very neat and comfortable.

The sisters that work the morning and afternoon shifts are fabulous! The check in was easy and our room was absolutely as expected! Very clean hotel and room. Comfortable with lots of space. Florence stay

Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and responded to any queries or requests efficiently. We arrived quite late but the hotel had sent extensive instructions on how best to travel from the train station to the hotel as well as how to access the room once we arrived. The breakfast was perfect - it had a range of cereals, pastries etc and a fantastic coffee. It is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Florence. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It's close to downtown and has a good breakfast (Italian standard and portions, not as diverse as American!). Big washroom and shower. The only issue was that our room was smelling cigarette and opening windows for 3 days didn't help.

The hotel seemed like it was apart of appartment blocks. There were some stairs (just to bear in mind for accessibility). It's cosy, cute and sufficed for a couple nights stay. The city centre is about a 20 min walk, with great bus links into the centre and also tram links near by for the airport. Staff were nice and helpful.

Andreas and the girls were very nice and helpful. The hotel is very charming, we had the room with the patio (the one with the guys on bikes shown in the pictures), super clean, breakfast was good. The hotel has a mixed vibe of the past and present which makes it cool! The elevator is one of those old ones that you close both doors, but it works! The location was ok, we had to walk a lot to find restaurants, it's not close to tourism attractions, it's near to the Campo de Marte train station, 10 minutes walking.

The hotel room was very large and kept very clean. Check in was strange as the hotel location and level were not made clear so it was a guessing game with how to get in and what floor I should go to. This could be resolved easily with both clear communication from the hotel prior to check in and signage at the entrance and in the lift. I also found the stairwell was very dark and the light sensors didn't turn on until you were halfway up the stairs.

Dirty and Uncomfortable

I have no idea how this hotel has such good reviews. First of all, the bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on in my life. Barely an upgrade over sleeping on the floor. I kid you not, our first morning there, we woke up with sore hips (my husband and I are both side-sleepers). My hips felt bruised! The room was dusty- the drapes were covered in dust like no one has even thought to give them a good shaking out. There were spider cobwebs on the ceiling, dust under the bed, and the bathroom was full of black mold. Lastly, the entire room has cracking and peeling paint. The only good things to note about this place was the staff - very nice and friendly, the breakfast- very very good, and the AC worked great. Despite the pros, I would never recommend this place or stay here again.
