This was our first time staying in a B&B, but we chose this place due to it's close proximity to the train station as we had a 7am train ride the next morning. Check-in was smooth and the hotel staff was prompt in their responses and very easy to communicate with up until our arrival. We arrived late and was happily surprised they didn't charge us the extra 20Euros for a late check-in. We unpacked our bags and was about to hop in bed and that's when my husband noticed a BED BUG crawling on the bedside table. By that time it was too late to communicate with the hotel staff about making alternative arrangements (not that we would want to stay in another room in the same B&B), we promptly packed up all our stuff and headed straight to another hotel. We're incredibly grateful we actually SAW the bedbug early on and avoided an all-out infestation of all our belongings or bites at the beginning of our 2 weeks trip around Tuscany. But we're also sad we had to waste time and $ trying to find another hotel at midnight. After informing the hotel of our experience, they flat out denied it and was very defensive and said it couldn't possibly be a bed bug. Trust me, we looked up many pictures and can confirm it was a bedbug. We're just glad there was no long term harm done and I feel compelled to share our experience because I'd want to know if this happened to someone else. Great location if you want to be by the train, wonderful staff and live BEDBUGS!

Florencia Santa María Novella NO es Florencia !!!

La ubicación es mala, ya que está lejos (se tiene que tomar bus o tren, desde Florencia Campo de Marte para ir al centro de Florencia, que está en Florencia Santa María Novella. Es unos 200 metros de un callejón oscuro, de noche y para ir a la estación Campo de Marte hay un puente alto y NO hay ascensores. Es modesto pero muy limpio. QUEREMOS DESTACAR LA AMABILIDAD DE LA ENCARGADA DEL LOCAL, Sra. CATIA QUE RESUELVE TODOS LOS PROBLEMAS. También deben tener MUCHO cuidado con los carteristas y otros ladrones (entre el bus y la entrada al albergue Stadium, me robaron 180 Euros. Simplemente sean precavidos. Tengan presente que NO es el centro de Florencia, ya que el aviso NO lo indica o si lo indica, es modo muy indirecto. En síntesis, NO volveremos Florencia Campo de Marte, solamente a Florencia Santa María Novella. Reitero nuestro agradecimiento a Catia.

Not recommended.

Arrived late due to bus being late, hit €15 even though I informed owner, fair enough, though we had to also wait 45 minutes for him to arrive. Black mould found around window frames in room behind curtains, where breakfast was to be served. Next night back to room at 810 pm to find door was locked and we couldn't get in, phone number given rang only to reception in B&B, didn't have number for owner. Spent 1:5 hours in the police station trying to find the owner, finally located. On return to the B&B he informed us that the door wasn't locked, which was not true as the other guests on their return informed us they had locked the door at 4pm. Owner became abusive when we called him out on the door being locked, with no apology given. His wife, co owner next day on calling was just as dismissive and rude. Do not recommend this B&B for service or cleanliness as on getting back in the room found ants on the bed and floor.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Lobenswert ist die nette Reinigungsdame, unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wirklich ein unfassbar grosses Lob an die Dame. Das Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung, leider nur die Lade und Umgebung waren nicht so der Hammer.

Hotel is right next to the station which is a 5 min journey into the main station for 1.5 euro each way per person. You cannot hear the trains from the room so don't let that put you off, however, if you're a light sleeper then take some ear plugs as it can be noisy at night as the B&B is on a busy road. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was verh clean. It's a continental breakfast and you can have it in the room or out on the terrace if the weather is nice. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom and a fridge in the room with water and soft drinks that you pay for if you take them. There is also a safe in the wardrobe which you can use if you ask for a key. Overall a decent budget B&B with easy access to the main tourist attractions.

IL B&B e' molto gradevole, confortevole e pulito giusto a 4 minuti a piedi dal Nelson Mandela Stadium, ideale per chi come noi era a Firenze per un concerto al Mandela Stadium. Il B&B e' a 10 minuti camminando dal centro storico. Il quartiere dove e' situato il B&B ha diversi ristoranti e pizzerie molto vicino. Odette la ragazza responsabile del B&B e' davvero gentilissima , professionale e disponibile , ci ha consigliato davvero molto bene sia su dove poter cenare assecondando le nostre richieste sia su come raggiungere luoghi di interesse proponendo tragitti migliori con mezzi pubblici e orari perfetti alle nostre esigenze. Lo consiglio assolutamente !

Endroit bruyant au bord d'une route dommage car il y a une belle petite cour. La chambre est propre attention aux moustiques. Petit dèjeuner copieux mais pas de variétés quand vous restez plusieurs jours. Pensez au parking car il est payant. Odette la dame qui vous accueille est très gentille et souriante.

Dificil de ubicar

Solo puedo decir que es dificil de ubicar y esto no es problema del hotel sino de catastro italiano.. El hotel no es facilmente visible y se ubica en lado de una calle donde no parece haber edificios ocupados..

Tivemos um problema com o check in, pois não tem recepção no local, ficamos esperando cerca de duas horas até que conseguimos contato e a funcionária veio nos receber. No mais, a hospedagem foi muito tranquila. O hotel fica ao lado da Estação Campo Di Marte.
