Simple hotel with a great central location. Room was basic, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was excellent. Staff were polite and helpful. Lift is small but helpful. Even with lift, stairs are necessary. Food for breakfast was average.

This accomodation couldn’t be anymore convenient. From the daily breakfast(gluten free options) which was great.Hotel Gioia was in an amazing location. In the heart of Florence. Easy walk to restaurants, transportation to the local landmarks and attractions. We didn’t need to use any public transport till we left Florence. Clean and tidy and the staff are super friendly. One of our best stays while travelling in Europe. Thank you for the wonderful memories our family have made in this beautiful city. Would love to come back and stay here again.

Amazing amazing amazing stay!!! We had to book last minute after an issue with our planned VRBO stay, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotels location was excellent and right near the major sites to see, as well as a clean & wonderful room.

At the first day of stay, we’ve got a room which had no blankets. The room smelled terrible because the WC tank was leaking. The WC entrance was small and I knocked my head to the wall and it was painful. It was noisy too since the neighbour was singing « Happy birthday « at 2 am. We talked to the staff and they gave us a better room for the second night. I don’t recommend that hotel at all since it has very poor and cheap management.

Comfortable hotel and good location

Overall a good hotel and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. The location is good as it is close to Florence Dome and other tourist attractions. A minor downside is navigating through the corridors to reach your room when you have luggage. There are multiple stairs that you have to take where the elevator doesn’t go so it makes it challenging But overall a good hotel

Elevator was so super old and time consuming to take. Stairs were not too good to take! Breakfast was so in rush by staff and obviously quality was not the best! Shampoo was empty, which the following day on their service, they didn’t take care of that! City tax per person was 6 euro! Which I asked everywhere else is 5 euro, how come here is different ?she didn’t understand me because she was not talking English! Which I thought , hotel receptionist should know English! Idk ! Or maybe they know , when it comes to questions they pretend they don’t!!
