The central location in Florence can’t be beat. The room was spacious and clean, with good air conditioning. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The location is perfect. 6 mins walk from the train station and near one of the plaza’s. The room is super gorgeous and definitely gives you the Florence feels. Staff was super nice and helpful with recommendations. The duomo was about a 8-10 min walk as well.

William at the front was incredible! The apt was amazing , super clean , shower with pressure and hot water , which is always a bonus ! The breakfast , I forgot the name of the lady working at it , but she was amazing ! Made my kids a delicious hot cocoa with whip cream ! Absolutely incredible location ! I would absolutely return in October to the same location.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The elevator to the 3rd floor was cool, we hummed the Get Smart theme every time we used it. :). Very convenient to sites and dining. Nice breakfast. Room was plenty big and with a large bed and 2 types of pillows, had a great frescoe on the ceiling. It felt like I was living in a home in Florence. Had a mini fridge, teapot, daily water bottles, nice bathroom, though I've never figured out how to use a bidet! Daily room cleaning, daily water bottles, fresh towels and slippers. My only reason for not giving 5 stars for cleanliness were the dust bunnies under the bed. I would definitely stay here again!

We arrived after the desk staff had left for the night to find the front door locked. Fortunately, this property was as wonderful as other reviewers reported. I checked my email and found clear and simple instructions on how to enter the building and take the elevator to the hotel which is on the third floor where my room key was waiting on the desk. The property was immaculate and the room spacious and elegant, including a painted ceiling. There was a nice breakfast and we were able to leave our bags after check-out while we enjoyed one last day of sight-seeing. Great value and convenient location near the train station. (Plus, a great vegan Asian restaurant, So Guan, is just 5 mins away).

A perfect location for anyone travelling by train and also hoping to explore the historic core of Florence. The hotel is cozy and only has a few rooms, so there was personal attention and responsiveness to any questions. The breakfast was good and the room was tastefully decorated and clean.

My Favorite Florence Stay

I had a wonderful stay at Residenza Madragone in Florence! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The cleaning lady / cook was phenomenal — attentive, kind, and made each day feel special. The front desk staff were very helpful and always pleasant, making check-in and daily questions a breeze. I felt incredibly safe and cozy during my stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family. I definitely plan to stay here again on my next visit. The only drawback was the main entrance, where there was a noticeable sewer and smell that should be addressed — but once inside, everything was absolutely perfect!

This hotel was the most expensive place during our trip to Italy but the worst of all. Front desk staff was ok but the house keeping old lady was very rude and stubborn. There were three adults but only two shampoo and shower gel. I asked to get one more set but she said no. I was very embarrassed at her stubborn attitude. Breakfast was not worth the price. I would never recommend this hotel.
