The place was decent, very convenient location. The remarkabke view of the city/river front you have to climb up to the roof patio for. You can’t really see much from the apartment. Just a heads up.
The communication was very poor though honestly. I never write bummer reviews or even make a fuss when staying places but I messaged several times, through the app and got no responses ….i did finally get one response with checkin in info and a promised phone call to talk, but no call. The number they have for contact wasn’t going through. I also booked this location on the front end of a trip and then a week and a half later on the back end. I had a death in the family and had to leave my trip abruptly to go home and asked about canceling the second portion for a partial refund or credit for a future stay. Absolutely ok if they couldn’t and understandable with their policy. But zero communication back. Which was a bummer.
So. If you want a convienient “decent” apartment for this price and aren’t worried about the possibility or need to talk to the host. It’s fine for that. I’ve stayed in places where the “host” still follows up and I prefer that as I feel like it’s part of what you pay for and nice to know they care. . I would not stay here again myself as there are better options in Florence for this price.
Also. The espresso machine didn’t work 😆, I told them that as well. I hope they amend all this for future guests!
