The apartment is located in a beautiful building on Via delle Terme, in the historical city center, close to famous monuments such as the Duomo, Giotto’s bell tower, the Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria. The surrounding area is full of restaurants, shops, and everything you the city of Florence has to offer.

The public bus service in Florence is provided by "Ataf".
The nearest bus stop to the house is on via della Vigna Nuova about 10 minutes walking distance, and the bus n° is 11 or 6.

The apartment is located within the Duomo district in Florence’s historic city centre. The Duomo area constitutes the very heart of Florence and the area takes its name from Brunelleschi’s magnificent dome on the wonderful Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral. The Duomo neighbourhood offers an array of beautiful historical buildings and superb piazzas including the Mercato di San Lorenzo, the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica, famous for its attractive cafes, patisserie shops, live music, street performers, and caricature artists. Furthermore, the area is surrounded by the city’s main cultural attractions, notably Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Bargello Palace, and Casa Buonarroti, the former home of Michelangelo, not to mention the Uffizi Gallery and the museum dedicated to the city’s cathedral “Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.” The area also has much to offer in terms of fine dining and exclusive boutique shopping. The top Italian fashion houses are located along Via Tornabuoni, Via Calzaiuoli, and Via del Corso and include the famous names of Salvatore Ferragamo, Armani, Versace, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co. and many more. For those choosing an apartment in this area, the Duomo quarter also offers several delicatessens otherwise known as “alimentari,” supermarkets, laundromats, and gift shops as well as being adequately served by local public transportation.

Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact a private garage. Thanks to the private garage you will obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify they need access for the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.GARAGE DELLE TERME

Lovely apartment of 52 m2 / 560 sq ft on the 3rd floor with elevator in a beautiful building in the historic city center. Terme View is made up of 1 bedroom with a double bed that cannot be separated into 2 single beds, a bathroom with shower, and can host up to 2+2 guests. From the entrance, there is a bright living room in which there is the dining area with table for 4, a double sofa bed, television, and the modern kitchen completely finished in stainless steel. The choice of this material in the kitchen adds an interesting contrast with the red color of the terra cotta floors and the exposed wooden beams. The same contrast is also found in the bedroom where the double bed (180 cm) that cannot be separated is framed by the exposed wooden beam ceiling and terra cotta floors. The harmony between modern and antique is the forte of this apartment where the transparency of the plexi-glass chairs are in symphony with the warm colored floorings. The Terme View apartment has a beautiful view of the Arnolfo Tower of Palazzo Vecchio from both the living room and bedroom. The kitchen is completely equipped and the bathroom has a shower.

Terme View is an ideal apartment for a couple that wants to stay in Florence for a short to mid-term stay. The location is great given its proximity to the historical monuments and the street is very quiet. The streamlined environment makes this apartment a great choice for lovers of simple yet refined furnishing.

Great spot, close to everything!

The apartment was as advertised, easy to locate and central to everything we did in Florence. We had a great experience and was accomodated by a host when our flight had us delayed and arriving at almost midnight.
