A Little Oasis of Peace in the Heart of Florence

  • My home is located next to the Boboli Gardens. Even though it’s in the heart of Florence, you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. It’s a historic 15th-century convent that has been restored in keeping with the Tuscan style. All my guests have always been delighted, and many have returned. Just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, you’ll find public transport, shops, and everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay in wonderful Florence.

Our home away from home for our extended visit in Italia. Our hosts, Antonia and Fabrizio, were wonderful and made our stay amazing. Any bumps along the way were met with quick help and resolution. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. It was wonderful to have a washer and drying rack. Learned that we needed to have it in the apartment. It was great to have two bathrooms, one upstairs and one main floor. Learned to work around the shortcut through the Art Institute garden’s hours 7-19. Found great places to eat and shop close by and easy walking route into the city. Learned the bus system! Found our way into beautiful neighborhoods on the “locals” side of the Arno. It was a truly wonderful place to call home and the hosts are great! It is a really, nice peaceful little getaway!
