Windows on Florence - Duomo apartment

The 50 m2 apartment is located on the first floor of a typical Florentine historical building dating back to 1400 AD. c. and was completely renovated and finished setting up in 2012.
The DUOMO apartment, (3 +2 pax) consists of a living room with a comfortable two-seater sofa bed and a kitchenette, fully furnished with all comforts, a triple bedroom with walk-in closet and a large bathroom with shower. Satellite TV and free WIFI.

The property is located in the heart of the historic center of Florence opposite the Bargello museum.
A few tens of meters are the Basilica of Santa Croce with its Museum, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo and the Casa Buonarroti (ancient house of the great sculptor Michelangelo). The Ponte Vecchio, with its famous artisan goldsmith shops, is just 850 meters away. The apartment is in the center and has just been renovated and furnished in a modern style. Very bright it has all the comforts.

Great location

Great location, clean, suitable for families, quiet street, lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping nearby. Less than 5 mins walk from Duomo. Paolo was there to greet us and was so helpful in recommending restaurants and places of interest. Wonderful place - thank you!!

ärgerlich und nicht zu empfehlen

Die angemietete Wohnung entsprach nicht der Anzeige: das Apartment war nicht hell und freundlich wie auf den Bildern abgebildet sondern sehr dunkel. Es gibt auch keinen Balkon oder ähnliches. Da es tagsüber und nachts sehr laut ist und zudem schlecht riecht, müssen die Fenster geschlossen bleiben. Unter dem Apartment befindet sich eine Bar/Club mit sehr lauter Musik die ganze Nacht bis früh in den Morgen. Die Gäste des Clubs/Bar stehen zudem rauchend unmittelbar unter den Apartmentfenster und unterhalten sich sehr laut. Der Qualm zieht direkt ins Schlafzimmer. Wir sind nach einer schlaflosen Nacht direkt aus und in ein Hotel umgezogen, mit dem Vermieter konnten wir uns nicht verständigen. Er hat sich erst zu unserer Beschwerde gemeldet, nachdem wir den Kundenservice von Fewo informiert hatten. Eine Erstattung der bereits im Voraus erfolgten Mietzahlungen erfolgte leider nicht. Sehr ärgerlich und daher nicht zu empfehlen. 1 Stern, weil das Apartment existiert.

Great location!!

It was small but in a great location. The only problem we ran into was it was a little noisy outside if you slept on the pullout couch in the living room. The apartment was clean and we really really loved the location. The bottle of wine was a nice house warming gift! Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic apartment

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Remodeled, comfortable apartment close to everything you want to see. We walked everywhere. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom is spacious. The internet works well and both Massimiliano and Paola are very nice abs responsive to emails. We would definitely consider this apartment next time in Florence. Grazie Mille

Quiet and well located apartment

We appreciated the "Duomo" apartment, for its perfect location, between Santa Croce and San Ambrosio, which are lively and authentic districts, with a local life, restaurants and cafés not overcrowded with tourists only, the San Ambrosio open air market and the Conad supermarket nearby. It's a very short walk to the historical center and main cultural points of interest. We appreciated our host Massimiliano's welcome with a bottle of Chianti. Massimilano was very easy to communicate with and he responded very promptly to our questions. The apartment is very clean, the bed-room and bathroom quite large, the living room and dining room area sufficient for 2 people, the kitchen well equipped, though the kitchen area is not rational. There is not enough space for the electric appliances (where to plug and put the electric boiler and toaster for breakfast ?) The air-conditioned in the bed-room was out of order. As the temperature in the apartment was not too high , it was not such a nuisance. the wi-fi was good. on the whole, we had a very pleasant stay.
