"We booked this home for a night knowing that a possible blizzard was in the forecast and I'm very glad we did, and not just because we didn't have to drive 100 miles in a blizzard. The home was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Our three-year-old loved the toys in the living room. Though we didn't utilize most of the kitchen and other amenities, it definitely has everything one would need for a longer stay. This home and the owners has us excited about planning a trip down in the summer time...

"The place we stayed was a very nice, with lots of indoor plant which we enjoyed. The outdoor area was in process of getting a landscape upgrade which we could tell was going to be gorgeous. The place was close walking distance to eating areas, shopping and train ride. Highly recommend home."

"Furniture was broken down. Contacted host when tv and WiFi went out 3 days before my departure. No response. Bathroom just so so. Looked like they stopped cleaning and didn’t finish before I arrived. Overall it was clean enough. Floors were EXTREMELY uneven. Hard for a senior citizen to feel comfortable walking inside."

"Enjoyed this place very much. It's an old home with great character and had everything we needed for our stay. The fenced in yard was great and enjoyed by our pup. The heater worked but the thermostat has a learning curve. Neighbor was friendly and felt safe the entire time. Would stay again given the opportunity."

"We had a quick trip to visit my son and his family for a very late Christmas. (In March) This house was very large and spacious with so many family friendly things to do we never even left the property. Beautifully decorated and very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed the amenities, outdoor space was nice. Lights that provide security and ability to enjoy the outside space long after sundown, which is 5 o’clock lol. Pots and pans to cook , place was clean. My dog enjoyed and was able to be outside safely for short times unattended. Would recy!"

The manager was accommodating to our need for an early check in. Florence is a fun little town, and we are already talking about a return weekend to the area. "Dora Lee is adorable! The Victorian house with fabulous modern updates and comfortable furnishings is a delight! We loved the fenced yard for our small dogs, porch on two sides for sun, comfy beds, couch, and a bay window seat that beckons for naps! Kitchen very well-equipped with everything we needed. Laundry facilities new and trouble-free. Right across the street from a spacious park and next door to a church. One word: Wow!"

We had a great time this week and the house was very clean and perfect for our family. We love all the great restaurants, the Royal Gorge, we went whitewater rafting, saw Bishops Castle, Pikes Peak, went Hiking, and much more!"
