“The room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff were nice, especially Kim, who prepared a delicious breakfast each day. The only reason I scored it a 4 instead of a 5 is that breakfast was an additional charge that I did not realize until our arrival and housekeeping texted us about our needs and I requested fresh towels that we never received. We've stayed at this location for many years with previous owners and everything was above and beyond our expectations. A little different this……

“My phone number was not set when I arrived. I responded to a request for my number via Expedia. I also call to speak with someone to make sure they had what they needed. I got voice mail and left a detailed message about my arrival and my phone number.
When I arrived the lock was not programmed to the last 4 digits of my phone number. I called in, but every time I selected one of the options, the phone disconnected. I continued to call and press different options until one time, someone……

“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!”
