Welcome to Salty Shack C! This 2 BED/2 BATH upstairs apartment sleeps 6. Wake up every day to sunrises, surfers, and the fantastic sound of crashing waves! This top floor unit is one of the three units in a triplex. It sits across the street from the beach and boasts a private entrance and deck within walking distance to the heart of Folly Beach.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a super laid-back community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping and, of course, a gorgeous beach. The location is perfect, as it is by Center Street and across from the Beach! We are located just a short 15-minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites and more. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking only 0.5 miles away.

You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home.
Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
You are offered spots for two standard sized vehicles in front of the unit. If you are driving an oversized vehicle you will only have room for one.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 6 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

Check in process was easy! The stay was great and the location was perfect with easy access to the beach. All though the dryer was down while we were there, management insisted on giving us a gift card to a local restaurant for our troubles. Over all very pleased and if we return to folly we would rent again!

Very clean, open space and location was great. Did not have blender and be aware of parking. If you are in A or C you will be parking in the front of the units and if you have a larger car you will not fit. Unit B had the entire side of the house to park in.

The property was lovely, access was easy, two parking spots for our unit. Lots of shops, restaurants etc. close by. The kitchen was well appointed. Some good music entertainment at the local bars which was nice in low season. Communication with the property manager was excellent. I would recommend this place.

Was unfortunately in middle of Helene hitting SC. I was told there was no power so decided not to drive there until third day of my stay. Was provided a link to check power but link required phone number on account which I did not have. So I asked them if it was on and did not get a response until the day I left. So missed part of my trip but understood it was a hectic time for everyone. Did have a great location, wish I was able to have stayed my entire time there.

This is an older beach cottage, right across the street from beach access. Great location, easy check in, clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen stuff to use. The furniture is tired and appliances are old, but everything worked.

We stayed for a week in the Salty Shack, had a great time with our family of four. Made going to the beach as easy as possible with children. The place itself was overall very nice. Like a home away from home. It did have its flaws as being close to the beach wears everything faster, but nothing that affected our stay. Just something to note for anyone expecting everything to be brand new and perfect. Would gladly stay again! Thanks for the use of your space!

Our visit went swimmingly. A small initial hitch was resolved promptly and suitably by the management company. Weekend traffic (no fault of the management) makes coming and going a challenge, so a stay that doesn't require leaving the beach area is best. Area parking is tight, so the assigned parking spots included with the facility are great. Plenty of area night life within staggering distance for those who are into that sort of stuff.
