"We had a wonderful honeymoon spent in the Hitchin post. Really cosy stay, was lovely to have the fireplace to us in the evening. The hot tub was a great addition, especially with such a beautiful view looking over the lake and field of horses. Spent several afternoons soaking in it with a glass of wine. "Quiet cozy log style cabin. Super clean, massive yard great for soccer, huge fire pit! Being so close to town literally 2 blocks away this property really makes you feel like you’re in nature or even camping! We will be back to this property! "

"My family of three really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The interior was very clean. Basic linens were provided. A previous review mentioned the shower being very hot and then very cold, no middle ground, that was also our experience. The resort has a nice sandy beach and it's in a great location, under 30 min from St. Ignace and island ferries. We used the firepit and firewood both nights and found the outdoor space very pleasant."
