"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "Endroit très bien et notre hôte a été bien gentille de s’ajuster à notre heure d’arrivée. Le seul point à surveiller est qu’il y a beaucoup de marches pour se rendre au logement avec des bagages (une cinquantaine.) Mais ceci s’applique pour la majorité des logements de la ville."

"Spacious clean room though it is a steep walk up from the check in location. Glad that I got help to carry my heavy luggage up the narrow stairs. There is another gentler way to the train station from the back which we wouldn’t have known on Day 1. Beds were comfortable, AC was cool enough and we could see the beach from one of the bedroom windows. Wished there were more hooks to hang our towels."

"This is a lobby-less hotel. You meet up with an agent who hands you a key and describes how to get to the room. It is located at the upper edge of Vernazza, on the road in. Very convenient if you have parked (as required) at the out of town parking lot. The shuttle ends right at the building. No need to roll your luggage down into town. It is on the 3rd floor, and has a very small elevator (you and a bag or two). No problems with the room. It is fairly simple and has the normal accoutrements. It is a short walk to the harbor. Lovely town."

"This charming room in Vernazza was a special space for our family of 3 for the couple days we explored Cinque Terra. Like most places in these villages, one had to climb through the narrow, winding walkways and stairs to access the room, but this made it more magical for us once we checked-in and could store our rolling luggage. It was like climbing up into a castle room. While we didn't have much communication with the hosts in the days prior (despite having left a couple messages through the Expedia app as suggested), in the hour before our arrival, we had great WhatsApp comms with the host who sent an excellent video showing the path to take to the apartment allowing us to check in early using the keypad to the building entrance, and then to meet them at a different location for final check-in. While small, the room was perfect for our visit (with good airconditioning and wifi). We would stay here again! Vernazza was well positioned to explore the other villages by walking paths and trains."

"My wife and 3 kids, ages 14,12, and 9 visited Cirque Terre and we stayed here in Vernazza and i would Highly recomend this property for any family. Perfect location and the host was there to great us and walk us to the apartment. Close to the train station, restaurants, cafes…etc. The Vernazza pier is steps away and a perfect spot to hang for sunset. Thank Alex for a wounderful stay!!"

"We stayed 3 nights in June 2026. Stefania was easy to communicate with, and gave us excellent advice about parking our car above Vernazza and good restaurant recommendations. Her directions about finding and accessing the flat were perfect and check-in was smooth. The bathroom is very small and aged, but the rest of the flat was very nice. The aircon was excellent and the tiny kitchen was very well laid out. We even cooked a meal there after realizing how close the local COOP was and wanting a quiet night at home after hiking. The flat is on the actual route to Corniglia and we loved that hike. Staying in Vernazza was perfect, as we could enjoy the town before and after the day-trippers descended on the village. We used the local laundry mat, the grocery store, and many restaurants. It was so nice to be only a few steps from home after all our outings. This apartment is in a great location and we'd stay there again. It was tight for 4 people, but we knew that was the case and spent most of our time exploring Cinque Terre and returned home to recharge and cool off, so in that sense it was perfect. We would say here again!"
