"Yes, advertised as rustic and definitely that, but there is rustic and there is "I just don't give a damn what it looks like or if it is taken care of." The door knob would fall out unless it was turned just so; unable to lock it. Curtains worn extremely thin so barely blocked out the sun, beam overhead held together with baling wire; no extra blanket; each side of cabin is slowly going into the ground? The center was high but both sides sloped down so things rolled on table and very hard to get...

"The lobby was clean and orderly. The breakfast area was clean as well with a assortment of items such as cereal banana apples oatmeal sausage cheese omelet and a pancake maker to make your own. My room was cleanand spacious. The was also a small round table with 2 chairs to sit at. I liked the fact i could open the window to get fresh air. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows."

"The gentleman who greeted us was wonderful. The only thing I could say was the outside pool was a little filthy, but they were in the process of cleaning it and the Jacuzzi was dirty. And our window looked out to A. Winnebago that looks like somebody was living in. It wasn’t the best site to see."

"I liked my room. It was very adequate. Breakfast was good. Two times during my four-night stay, while taking a short shower, the water got cool. I don't know if someone in another room flushed a toilet, or what happened. The TV remote was old style, and there were no instructions or guides anywhere in the room on how to use the TV or what stations were available. There were no brochures or area attractions information. And no booklet or information on amenities at the hotel. I would stay there again if in the area."

"This is a hotel with soul. In addition to a beautiful exterior, clean interior, friendly staff, a great lounge area that overlooks Ft Collins, and a fun jazz club with live entertainment, every room comes with a record player where you can play albums available for free in the lobby.
