“Have stayed at the hotel many times but decided this time to stay in the franklyn suite as a treat and wow it certainly did not disappoint ! ”

“Large room and excellent bathroom. Staff cheerful and friendly. The service at breakfast was particularly good and that seems to be unusual now in our experience. We have stayed here before when exploring the area and came this time for an overnight stay before joining a cruise. It is good value and has lots of amenities should guests wish to use them.”

“We chose this as a pet-friendly, one night stopover, after a ferry crossing, Santander to Portsmouth. Great, and quirky, little property, well-placed for the ferry port and run by a lovely lady who provides absolutely everything needed for a perfect, short stay. We wish we had discovered it earlier as it closes at the end of this year. Such a shame. We would have returned. Best wishes to our hostess. But thank you for a lovely stay and we were delighted by the local dining choices. ”

“Everything is in average. The hardware is definitely needed to be upgraded. Staff were nice. If you have plan to dine in their restaurant, be prepared to be very patient for waiting, however food was nice.”

“the room space is just a bit small which is a little bit out of expectation (as the photos seen quite large) but the environment is still very good and the cleaning service is well done, receptionists are very nice as well. Good!”

“Just around the corner from National Express Bus terminal. Also Green Mango Hair Salon. Room 5 in the second floor is quiet. Room 3 on the first level not to much. ”
