“Our suite smelled HORRIBLE. It was obvious that dogs have stayed in this room (201) and the odor was very bad. This property is only 6 months old. I purchased a Glade Plug-in but it didn’t help. The blinds were broken and would not close. We had to stuff pillows at the window to keep light out in the early morning. Maintenance was requested but never arrived. Overall cleanliness was good, just a horrendous odor. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just so-so. As a diabetic I would like to see more……

“The place is being remodeled and "fixed" up. It didnt say this when I booked it. Hallways are full of dressers and cabinets. Everything is closed for renovations like the pool. Wasn't the best. The room its self was okay but there was no water pressure. I can spit harder than the water came out. It looked like someone pulled copper put the walls like 2 foot down from the ceiling. The bed was comfy that was the best part. Then at like 3am there started a beep. Not loud enough to keep us up but……

“We were disappointed the pool was closed for our entire stay but nothing was done to compensate for the closure, we weren't made aware it was closed until after check in. A few Hilton Honors points or a discounted room rate would have been nice. The rooms are very basic not a lot of sitting to visit with friends without being right out front with everyone else. Room was clean and staff was friendly nice place for overnight stay, but for long term stay not enough amenities for my liking. No……

“There was a cockroach on the floor. There was no iron to iron the clothes. They told us we could check in early but when we got to the property they said we couldn’t. And because we had just came from a 9hr road trip it inconvenience us. I will never book again!”

“The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in……
