Stayed here for a girls’ trip. Food and drink were good, Service and staff attitude were inconsistent. Some were very helpful while others had to be reminded of various requests. The grounds were nice but the website photos made it look better. The pool and rooms were misleading, outdated and disappointing. Very family oriented with lots of kids but TV channels were spotty and no option for streaming. Few shops and options within walking distance for restaurants, bars, etc..

The resort has it all!!! We lived the reserved beach space with chairs and umbrellas. The music on the weekends added the amazing vibe we needed. We ate at the restaurant twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals on the beach. The space on the balcony was generous. $18 valet was very reasonable and appreciated. Our only complaint was the noise from the hallway…sound traveled. We will return!

Amazing location on the beach with umbrellas and chair service included. The balcony was huge with a great view and spacious in the junior suite. They let us checkout and stay on the private beach and use the pool and restrooms until late in the afternoon which gave us an extra day on the beach.

Pros - Rooms were spacious and clean, beds comfy, staff was wonderful and tentative. Beach service was nice-paid parking lot relatively close, or valet available, pool warm, beach close walking distance, showers clean and had full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Front desk had box fans available for fan sleepers :) Cons- no microwave, mini fridge was definitely mini compared to most basic hotel mini fridges. mirrors were VERY limited. This was a struggle with 3 women getting ready. No body length mirror either, Had to stand on the bed to get a look at your outfit. Balconies not private and the partial ocean view was disappointing. If we moved our chairs to view the ocean we were looking right at our neighbors( all of them, the whole length of resort) and couldn't see the ocean unless standing. If we looked straight ahead we had a great view of the roof. If you want true ocean view, pay the extra. Over all great hotel for simple relaxing vacation. Not close walking distance to things. Pompano Area not a ton of things to do for family. About 25 ish drive to fort Lauderdale and we drove hr to Miami to keep teenage kids entertained.

The staff here was very friendly. A call out to Cynthia at the front desk, who went out of her way to assist us when needed, and always with a smile. The restaurant on site regularly had excellent food. Fresh and well-made, from appetizers and breakfast to dinner! Awesome oysters, and app’s at happy hour. We loved eating here while having good live music playing in the evening! That was a bonus. We loved eating there, and with a great view of the beach! The food is consistently excellent here.The servers were friendly and knowledgeable, and Matt was the best server! He made your experience dining a good one, was always upbeat and easily accommodated our dietary needs.(Gluten free). We also loved the service on the private beach. It was never overly crowded and the beach attendant Chris always made sure to find us loungers and was quick to put up an umbrella too. Very attentive. They would even serve you food or drinks if wanted at the beach or pool. Hard to believe this was only a three star resort. By the way, our room was actually cleaned daily & without having to ask. I liked that. Would definitely return. The best decision we made was to get an oceanfront room! So well worth it. We loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean and relaxing on our balcony, on our loungers while looking at the beautiful ocean and drinking our espressos!! Good coffee bar near the lobby if you didn’t want the espresso coffee machine in your room. Would definitely return.

My fiancé and I travel back to this location every spring break. It’s a beautiful place to stay however, where are some issues with the air-conditioning not working but they did get it up and running.. also looks like areas of the resort needed updating pretty bad. I know my specific room 803. My husband and I were not very happy when we first checked in the cleanliness was not great and paint was peeling off the walls of our bathroom.!!! my family lives next-door in the brand new condos and we would like to continue coming back here every spring break however, it definitely needs to be updated!!
