they didn't have bbq in the pool area, the pool was in construction as well as part of the building, the oven got on fire, the hole apartment was full of smoke that smell like chemical substances not food, that is why they have like 2 fire extinguish and a lot of fan in the property, I don't recommend this property, it is danger to stay here

Long weekend stay steer clear

Check in was Fairly easy. My husband and I got up to the room and unpacked to head down to the beach. The door key pad was working just fine when we left the unit, but after returning with a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries we were locked out due to the key pad batteries being dead. The owner also did not keep a backup key with the front desk as many rentals in that building do. One of the people in our party had medication in the room which also had to be taken at a certain time due to health reasons and the urgency was just not there. The property manager had to send out a locksmith which took two hours, at this point our groceries were warm and it was past dinner time. Next day the tv in the living room went out and the outlet next to the nightstand was no longer working. The unit had also not been cleaned properly as there was sand in the bed and all over the floor and very outdated. One of the bathroom shower drains were not draining properly causing water to just sit. I had contacted the unit owner and let them know, which they responded the cleaning crew would come the next day to address the issues. Well the next day came and went and the next and nothing was done about the situation. I am honestly so disappointed in this rental and would never book again.

Spring Break Trip

Property was perfectly located on the beach. Had everything we needed to enjoy the week. Close to stores and restaurants. Bedrooms were nice. Kitchen was lacking in some cooking utensils like pots and pans. Overall good place for teen/college spring breakers.

This was a vacation from hell, thanks to the condo that we stayed at.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel, full of problems then don’t forget to book this condo now. We had so many issues and every single one of them was documented and reported. The the air conditioning unit was leaking, couldn’t use that closet. The stove top only had one small burner working, ants all over the bathroom sink, and the ac unit still didn’t work properly after the technician came out. Don’t dare turn the knob as you walk out the door or you will get locked out like we did for over an hour , not a single person on the property had the key to let us in. The pool on the first day was nice and clean, pretty much the only good thing about this place-however that changed quickly and was full of sand, no one cleaned it all week. Needless to say this was the worst condo we have ever stayed at. BEWARE!

We had an OK experience. Great location, great view, and nice building. The apartment itself is very cheaply furnished, the first impression you get when you walk in is why I didn't pay another 200$ and got a nice place. The bathroom had a broken toilet paper holder and the wall was broken, the shower doors were rusted and the handle broke in my hand, also you couldn't move the door without 2 hands and a screeching sound. The bed was awful, the bedsheets were very cheap. overall not a house you feel at home or wanna spend more than you a have to, Differently not "Home Away".

Great location, great trip

Showed up all was as described. Only one TV, which is a bit inadequate for a 2 bedroom and having kids. Cable was not working when we arrived, we brought our Roku box thank god, so not sure if it ever started working or not. No beach chairs available as described. Everything else went great!

Hollywood Beach

We had a great stay here. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. We enjoyed the pool, beach and games room! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a little R&R :)

Great

Great location and clean. Really no complaints at all other than shower pressure was weak. The building is well kept, room was clean and decently stocked. The area is busy but not congested and it is safe. We brought our 2 year old and it was good for him too.

Beautiful view- some inconveniences

The apartment building and property is very nice. The view of the ocean from the balcony is beautiful and I felt the price was reasonable. The furnishings were fresh and modern. Bathroom and kitchen appliances could afford to be upgraded, but they were sufficient and clean. Nice heated pool. Overall, a good place and I would recommend it, but probably wouldn't return myself. This unit is to the south of Hollywood boardwalk, not really walkable and traffic was a bit crazy. Parking is 10$ a day for valet and there is no other option. There are no beach chairs or towels (we did buy and leave two chairs bc we couldn't fly with them). Chairs were 10$ each and 17$ for an umbrella at the beach daily. The beach was very narrow here and crowded. Also a fob is needed to get into the pool, into the beach, out of the beach, so having one of these for a family of 5 was a bit tricky. Owner was responsive and helpful.

Somewhat Disappointed

Overall the location is good, steps away from the beach. Restaurants are close by. Plenty of room. Recommendations would be to have board games, movies, more than one tv as it was indicated that there were TVs. Beach chairs and towels would have been nice. As far as cooking more than one skillet would be useful, dish towels and dish rags, adequate amount of paper towels and toilet tissue would be helpful as we had to buy our own. The appliances could use a upgrade as they seemed to be very old and outdated. We have stayed in numerous vrbo and this is the first that we were disappointed for the $$$ that we spent. After all it is suppose to be s home away from home. We will continue to do vrbo but I will do a little more research on reviews.
