Great Trip

The home was a great fit for our family and the extended family that came with us. We were able to utilize the space well, and the home was close enough to anything we needed. Market, restaurants, beaches, and other fun stuff were all just a couple mins, to just 10-12 mins away. We certainly enjoyed our time.

Wellington Courts

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the carpets, actually in my opinion it needs ripped out and replaced. The rugs were dirty and should be thrown out., in kitchen, at the backdoor, garage, etc. The couches needed cleaning, professionally. I placed sheets over them and took the pillows off as I did not feel comfortable sitting on the couches. I would not stay at this house again under these conditions.

Hurricane Holiday

We arrived on 19 Sept and had to contact the property manager who sorted out our queries. Our holiday was going great until Hurricane Ian struck and we had to evacuate the day after due to property damage and loss of services . We hope we can stay in the house when Fort Myers recovers.

Enjoyed our stay

The house was as described in the listing. We loved the pool and location. The house was clean and furniture comfortable. A few details could be fixed to make things perfect such carpets shampooed, light in pool didn’t work, and gas grill grates rusty (we ended up buying our own grates to use). But overall very happy with the house and would rent again.

Wonderful vacation with the family.

Very good experience. House was well equipped. Could have used a griddle for making pancakes. Plenty of towels & linens. Rugs & carpet didn’t seem clean. Pool heater issue & Doug was right on it. Excellent service.

Almost perfect

The property and amenities were wonderful. We loved the location and on-site pool. Would def book again the location and manager. The only complaint was the master bath toilet took over an hour to fill with water, making it difficult to share the bathroom. We all had the best time.

Great Central Location

Spent 7 nights. Loved the heated pool and the quiet neighborhood. Drove up to Sarasota and down to Sanibel island (our favorite). Gorgeous weather!

Great week

the New Horizons Villa is located and a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are nice and friendly. The house itself was great, lots of room and everyone loved having a pool. We would stay again.

New Horizons villa

This was the second time we have visited this home in 5 months, we loved it so much! The home is well laid out and equipped and the pool is fantastic. When we encountered some minor repairs needed (it is an older home) Vacasa were straight on the case with great communication and swift response - no problem.

Beautiful villa

The home was very clean, we'll set out with south facing views overlooking the lake. It had lots of extras like pool toys and the welcome pack by Vacasa supplied all the household consumables which would normally require an early shopping trip rather than an early dip in the pool, so that was much appreciated! We loved it so much that we have booked it again later this year.

Exceeded expectations

We rented this property for two weeks in Dec/Jan 2018/2019 and it was truly perfect! The beds and furniture were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and well kept, and the pool and patio area was great. The back of the house faces south so it got great sunlight all day long (with also plenty of shade on the patio) and the pond behind provided a great backdrop for watching birds - as well as one alligator sighting! We opted for pool heat which made it perfect for our young children’s use. The house came well equipped with basic starting toiletries, soaps, etc. The grill was not initially working when we arrived and Vacasa promptly sent a representative out to rectify the situation (they provided a new grill). As another reviewer mentioned a month ago, appears that the dryer needs to be serviced. It is usable but requires two cycles to dry clothes. As far as the rooms, it should be noted that the master bedroom shares a Jack-and-Jill bath with a smaller room that has two twin beds. There is a pocket door on the smaller room leading to the bathroom, however no door on the master bedroom leading to the bath. This was fine for us, as our young daughters (2 and 4) shared the twin beds and we wanted to keep an eye on them. However it does decrease privacy in the master bedroom and may not be ideal for someone with a different situation. Since we traveled with our two young children, we were concerned about the safety risk of having a pool on the property. We were glad to see that the sliding doors to the patio had a double locking system that our 2 year old could not figure out (although our 4 year old did manage to). We brought some jingle bells for that door which is located right outside of the master bedroom and some door knob covers for other doors that we wished to deter the children from turning. Overall an excellent experience and we would definitely look to rent this property again in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Great House!

Amazing house in a great location. Close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and attractions close by. Kids loved swimming in the pool and very friendly neighbors. Vacasa staff was helpful with our questions. We would definately stay at this house again.
