Great stay:). The location was nice because it was off the main road. Beds were comfortable, view was nice, property nicely maintained m, plenty of carts for moving items, lots of towels, great water pressure. Could use some blackout drapes on windows b/c the sun is up at 5:30am and the living room furniture is a little worn but the decor is nicely done.

Fam with two teens. Stayed 4 nights. Great place! Fully stocked kitchen, clean, great beach views! Beds were comfortable! If I'm absolutely nitpicking, the LR cable didn't work, but all bedrooms has their own TV's so it was a nin issue. Would.highly recommend!

Perfect location

This property was in a perfect location! Close to great restaurants and right on the beach. The condo had plenty of space for our family trip and everyone was happy to have their own bathroom! Would definitely stay here again!

First issue was the room had not been cleaned before our check in at 4. We left and went to dinner. I asked for a call when the room was finished and that never happened. I spent days messaging the host to get the tv’s to work and never had help with that. We finally got 1 tv to work on our own. The coffee machine didn’t work. The elevator on our side of the building never worked thru our stay. The beds were hard as a rock. The shower nozzle in the master bathroom was loose. The dishwasher had a rotten egg smell when used. Lastly an exterminator tried to come into the condo to spray for bugs while we have a baby crawling around. I have stayed in many places and I will probably never use RealJoy Vacation rentals again. The customer service was awful.

Nice stay even though area was crowded for spring break. Okaloosa island is always less crowded than the rest of Fort Walton /Destin. Favorite restaurant Stewbys is right down the street. You can’t go wrong!

spring break

The property is in a great location and very clean. The only issue we had was that the pool was suppose to be open, which it was, however they had a portion of it taped off that you could not access for construction purposes. The hot-tub was also out of comission.

June Vacay

We had a nice time visiting FWB but this property and location is very underwhelming. It is very outdated, the carpet is dirty in the bedrooms, the electrical outlets and some of the switches did not work, the A/C barely would cool the master bedroom so it left it very hot at night. The master bedroom needs darkening curtains because the bedroom is lit up like a Christmas tree at 5am in the morning. The elevators are extremely slow and it takes forever to get around. This particular property is also right next to the big public access which makes the beach super crowded. We did enjoy ourselves while there but probably will not be back to FWB/Okaloosa Island

Not sure if I'll do another VRBO

On our first day at our condo we get a knock on the door saying we are here to do construction on the balcony. Needless to say they were there our entire vacation. Called to complain to RealJoy Vacations ,they were willing to move us but not until our last day there. This took a day and a half of me complaining and pictures for this response

Minor set back

Everything was good except the tub in one of the guest bathrooms was slow draining. The water handle was also broken. When we called maintenance they came to repair it while we were gone and unfortunately they "repaired" a different bathroom leaving us without the 3rd bathroom for the week. Otherwise, everything was great and we still had 2 other bathrooms to shower with 😁

Island Princess 317

The condo is in a great location, short walk to the pool and beach. Decor is beach vibes and modern. Rooms are good size and not cramped. Kitchen is adequately stocked with everything you need to cook. Linens and towels were plentiful for our 5 day stay. Washer and dryer were nice to do laundry. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The dishwasher is aged and the shelves are rusted with broken tines. Could use an update. The ice maker in the freezer doesn’t work . I contacted management and was told they are aware and the owners aren’t going to fix until the refrigerator needs replaced. Therefore, we had to purchase ice as the two ice trays weren’t adequate for six adults. Tack strip between the carpet and tile of the front bedroom/bathroom was exposed. Management was quick to have someone come out to fix because of the exposed tacks/nails. Also, the bedroom directly across from the front door doesn’t cool down even though AC is on. We purchased a box fan to help with that. The light on the outside of the condo by the front door is very bright and makes the other front bedroom impossible to make dark at night. We tried towels over the shades and resorted to purchasing a black out curtain to resolve the issue. The rug in the living room and carpets could use a good shampooing. No obvious stains, just appear dirty with high traffic areas. Even with the few drawbacks, I would recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again.

Great property!

This property was perfect for our little get away! Perfect location! Enjoyed the beach and seen a ton of sand dollars! 5 minutes from Destin boardwalk. The only complaint I have, is that in one of the bedrooms, there were stains on the covers and walls. Other than that, it was very clean! Definitely will be coming back!

Would not go back

Property was spacious and had very nice furniture. There were just some things that we didn’t like, example: the property was not cleaned very well(a lot of dust on the fans and chandeliers), on the front room, the toilet did not have a lever to flush, instead they tied a shoelace to pull and flush, the blinds from the front room don’t close very well(a lot of light comes in and the room gets VERY HOT), there is NOTHING in regards to apices(no salt, pepper, oil). Not a complaint, but be prepared because the cleaning crew was at out door 10 minutes prior to check out, FYI. The pool downstairs is small for the amount of people there and even though the rules say there shouldn’t be any smoking or drinking on the pool there are a couple of condos that have their balcony with gates directly to the pool and the people there drink and smoke… so it’s like they are in the pool doing both.

Don’t waste your money staying here.

This place is AWFUL! The condo itself is old and downright disgusting. From the mold in all 3 showers to the stains on the rugs and bedding...do yourself a favor and find a better place to stay. Not to mention there is a cockroach infestation. Gross! I wish I could add pics to this review. Oh, and trust me the pictures are an inaccurate description. You will be highly disappointed.

We decided to take this trip as a late Mother’s Day gift for our moms & decided to get married on the beach. The trip is the best trip I’ve ever been on. The condo was magnificent. The pictures really didn’t do it justice. Everything was as pictured. It was nice, clean, & spacious. We’ll definitely be back.

Girls trip during Mother’s Day weekend. Property was located near restaurants, was nicely decorated, and had the amenities needed for cooking and to be near the beach. I would highly recommend this property and plan to come back soon.
