Fort William

The Old Distillery Apartment has amazing views of the mountains and also of the Jacobean Train going past. It is very spacious, comfortable and within walking distance to the train station and High Street. The only problem was taking your bags up the many flights of stairs!

Perfect for our needs

Within 15 mins walking distance of both station and town centre meaning not needing to use the car all the time. Being at the top of the building meant a great view of the surrounding area including the Jacobite steam train, the main reason for choosing this accommodation. Only thing on the downside is the amount of stairs to get to the accommodation though this is to be expected. As there is normally 2 of us unlikely to stay here again but ideal for a 2 couples with no issue with walking the number of stairs to get in and have no problem sharing a bathroom.

Convenient location if climbing Ben Nevis. Few minute drive away. Clean and spacious, nice touch having milk in fridge on arrival after a long drive, to be able to have a cuppa was heaven!! Only negative was no iron so we had to dine out on evening with creased clothes. Ironing board was in cupboard but searched high and low for iron and gave up. Would be useful for owners to email on the day with access code. I had no idea what to search for in emails as the message had come from a company I was unaware of, and the access info was emailed over a week ago.

We loved the cozy apartment. The area around & the stairwell were not very clean. Everytjing inside was wonderful! Well equipped kitchen & interior.

Old Distillery, Fort William

Minor miscommunication with the check-in email but that was resolved. Apartment was beautiful and well appointed. Being on the third floor was a bit of an issue with a couple in our party as all were seniors.
